New Years without Fireworks?

For the first time in several years we stayed home and did mostly nothing for New Years Eve! Steve was asked to shoot a show in Anchorage, Alaska for their 50 year celebration, however, we had Scott and Rich for the last half of Christmas Vacation and he would have been gone the entire time they were here. So....he turned it down and decided to have some time home with the family. We have had a lot of fun this year with him around. It was really nice to have dinner at home instead of in the car on the way to the show. We had crab legs, shrimp and lots of munchies for dinner. The boys went out in the freezing cold to do sparklers and what kind of party would it have been without a silly string fight!! I know it won't be this way for many more years to come so we enjoyed every second, even the messes!! We are so grateful that Steve was able to stay home with us this year. He is the Best!
