At the Beach

What a bitter sweet ending to the summer. I have had an amazing time being home with the boys for the summer. I guess all good things have to come to an end. I am returning to work tomorrow for 4 days a week. I will be hiring someone to cover for my days off then cutting down to 3 days a week. It has just hit me tonight that this is it. I am having a very emotional time. So many things are going through my mind. I don't think I will sleep much so I decided to post since it has been so long. Max is now 4 months. He is 24 1/2 inches and 13 1/2 pounds. We call him the little chubber! We love him so much. He is the most charming little baby, he smiles so much. His smile just melts me. He has started rolling over and is such a talker, he sure has alot to say! Max is holding toys and chewing on anything he can get into his mouth! He is also giggling! I think he thinks Scott is funny looking or something because when he is around Max is laughing! And how could I forget...he is sleeping through the night. He sleeps from 7:30or 8pm to 7 am. AMAZING!!! Nate has started kindergarten, so far he really likes it and loves his teacher. So glad! I dropped Max to the babysitter for the first time the same day that Nate started and Steve was in India. Max was only there 3 hours as kind of a test, he did great I was a boob! Wow that was an emotional day. I have comfort in knowing that my babysitter, Sharon, is an amazing woman. She loves and cares for my kids as if they were her own. I am so grateful to have her in our lives. So what have we done all summer? Completely enjoyed each other! I am so jealous of all the women that get to stay at home with their children, what a blessing. We done alot of camping, swimming, riding bikes, playing games, spending time with grandma and watching lots of movies. We hit the aquarium and of course the zoo! We did finally make it to one of Steve's shows over labor day weekend. I was nervous how Max would react but he absolutely loved it. The first shot his mouth dropped open and the binky fell out he just stared. He was mesmerized! (Nate was sad tonight when I told him he would be going to Sharon's every day after school.) Max went camping for the first time at 6 weeks and did great! We also hitched a ride with Grandma and Grandpa for a quick trip to see Aunt Staci in California. We have had alot of fun and I will always treasure the time I have had at home with the boys! Oh and how could I forget to mention that Nate got his first motorcycle!!! He is very proud!

I'm not sure if I should be excited or scared for Nate and the motorcycle???
Hopefully Ryan won't have the opportunity to see it and be envious any time soon.
